Colorado Cares Psychiatry is a telehealth mental health practice based in Denver, Colorado, and founded by psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner Carrie Radding, PMHNP - APN. She completed her Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) graduate program at Walden University and graduated summa cum laude. Her previous experience includes 13 years of nursing experience in various fields, including pediatrics, nephrology, critical care, and cardiac catheterization.

Born and raised in Colorado, she is passionate about supporting those who live in our rural and mountainous communities. Colorado is a progressive state in many ways, including the rights of the LBGTQ+ community as well as support for mental health. She believes in access to mental health from her own personal experiences and understands the importance of having a provider who listens without judgment, who cares, and who responds quickly to questions and any pharmacological concerns. Her life focus for society is to dispel the stigma surrounding mental health while assisting clients to achieve their own personal mental health goals.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three children and her dog, Appa. She is a very active individual and can be found riding her mountain bike, hiking, snowboarding, or soaking in hot springs. She also enjoys old or unique cars, going to museums, and traveling.
